Hispania Restaurant

Hispania is the largest Spanish restaurant in London.

This place has been rumored for months to be one of the very best restaurants in London in the Spanish cuisine. As we walked in we felt as though we had really stepped out of the busy city to a parador in Spain.

Almost everything in this vast place is authentic from the magnificent Spanish floor, to the wooden private dining table that was owned originally by a notorious Spanish banker.

Kensington is a district of west London, within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. An affluent and densely-populated area, its commercial heart is Kensington High Street and it contains the well-known museum district of South Kensington.

The street was declared London’s second best shopping street in February 2005 thanks to its range and number of shops. Kensington is, in general, an extremely affluent area, a trait that it now shares with its neighbour to the south, Chelsea.

Just across the Thames from the popular South-West London area of Fulham, the leafy streets of Putney have been renowned as one of London’s loveliest spots for more than a century.

Pretty and peaceful, Putney is characterised by relaxed pubs, good restaurants, and cosy coffee shops rather than the clubs and cutting-edge pop-ups of many East and South London areas.

Most available properties in the area are traditionally Victorian terraces and detached period houses which have been converted into apartments or kept as single properties, but in the last few years many new developments have sprung up offering sleek, modern living in the heart of Putney.

Chelsea

The property is a large 4-storey, unlisted terraced house on quiet tree- lined street off Fulham Road. It is a short walk from Brompton Cemetery and the river Thames. It is in a Conservation area, but not a flood risk area and it is not a listed building. It forms part of a row of similar terraced properties and its main access is at raised ground floor level.

The north-south street consists of four and five-storey terraces built alongside Fulham Road and Cathcart Road. These streets were built as part of a phase of house building in The Boltons & Redcliffe Square area in 1850-1876 by Corbett & McClymont
